These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of dropr.cloud (“dropr”, “the platform”, “we”, “us”).
Please read them carefully before creating an account or using the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using dropr, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 16 years of age to use dropr.
2. Account Responsibility
When you create an account on dropr, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
- Keep your password secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Maintain only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate the platform is prohibited.
3. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create and share on dropr, including posts, comments, photos, and messages.
By posting content on dropr, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and for the purpose of operating the service (for example, showing your posts in feeds, search results, and public profile pages).
You can revoke this licence at any time by deleting your content or your account.
4. Prohibited Content
You agree not to post or share content that:
- Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
- Contains harassment, threats, or hate speech directed at individuals or groups.
- Is spam, including unsolicited commercial messages, link farming, or repetitive automated posts.
- Involves impersonation of another person, courier, or organisation.
- Contains sexually explicit material or graphic violence.
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Shares private information about other people without their consent.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.
5. Emergency Assistance
dropr includes a community emergency assistance feature that allows couriers to request help from nearby users. This feature is designed for peer-to-peer support only.
dropr is not an emergency service. In case of a genuine emergency involving danger to life, injury, or crime, always contact your local emergency services first:
- 112 — European emergency number
- 999 — UK emergency number
- 911 — US and Canada emergency number
We do not guarantee response times, availability of nearby users, or the outcome of any assistance request made through the platform.
6. Place Information
dropr allows users to contribute information about places such as delivery points, parking spots, and local landmarks. This information is user-contributed and community-driven.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any place information on the platform. Always verify critical details independently. dropr is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on place information.
7. Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or our community guidelines.
- Engage in activity that is harmful to other users or the platform.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or exploit the service.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
dropr is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, dropr and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to dropr in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email. Your continued use of dropr after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We encourage you to review this page periodically.
10. Governing Law
dropr is a UK-based service. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of dropr shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
